Our first humble dumpling shop at 2000 Pennsylvania Ave. NW is now unfortunately TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION IN THE BUILDING. We hope to be back up and running within a year. Nothing better with dumplings than some of DC’s best brewed beers! We set up in Atlas Brewery’s killer taproom for an afternoon event. SOLD OUT.

Together with our hosts at Colony Club we threw a charity ping pong tournament benefiting N St. Village. SOLD OUT.

Nat Geo/BYT Explorers Fest After Hours

We boogied at the National Geographic Museum for the Explorers Fest after party hosted by Brightest Young Things. SOLD OUT.

Caviar Pickup Launch at Union Kitchen Grocery

In conjunction with the food delivery service Caviar launching its new pickup service, we held a special one-day-only event. Orders were placed through Caviar’s app, and then picked up from us at Union Kitchen Grocery Ninth Street. We offered a special combo of six dumplings—choice of bok choy shiitake and a brand spanking new lemongrass pork—a cuke salad, and our incredibly refreshing cool tea. SOLD OUT.

Community Copper Hour at Kit & Ace

We collaborated with our friends at Kit and Ace on a complimentary happy hour featuring two signature dumplings and drinks open to members of the community.

The Emporiyum

We served over 1200 dumplings across the two day festival in Baltimore. We were thrilled to serve alongside some of the most exciting food and beverage artisans from across the country. SOLD OUT BOTH DAYS.

Meet the Makers at Union Kitchen

Together with over 70 of our fellow members we took part in Union Kitchen’s showcase of the finest local food businesses in DC. SOLD OUT.

Reuben Dumplings at On Rye

Taking over the restaurant, we collaborated with our hosts on a most excellent Reuben dumpling. We took their house pastrami, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, and wrapped them in our swirled marble rye dough (complete with caraway seeds). SOLD OUT.

Launch Party at Compass Rose

We took over Washingtonian Top 100 Restaurant Compass Rose for our official launch party, and in addition to a stellar lineup of traditional offerings, created a khachapuri collaboration dumpling stuffed with cheese and egg and wrapped in rustic dough and pan fried in butter. SOLD OUT.

Rumplings at Cotton & Reed

We infused the fillings of our dumplings with Cotton & Reed’s excellent rums for our very own rumplings! SOLD OUT.

Refugee Benefit at Republic Restoratives

We made a version of Shish Barak, a dumpling dish made across Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan, with the proceeds going to the International Rescue Committee. SOLD OUT.

Chinese New Year’s Eve at The Passenger

We rocked out at The Passenger with dumplings and karaoke for Chinese New Year’s Eve. Our very first event sold out in about half an hour. Party on Wayne!
